The InterChange Desk is here to assist people looking for information, resources, advice, and encouragement in their quest to change careers.

We are not professional career consultants, nor have we worked in recruitment. Between us however, we’ve had more jobs, and careers, than you could poke a stick at.

We’ve been round the houses as they say, and everything written here is from our personal, sometimes hard gained, perspective, or experience.

As stated on the About page, we are here to offer friendly advice, suggestions, ideas, and encouragement.

Please do not regard The InterChange Desk as the be all and end all, or sole source of counsel in the career change and job search process. Always seek other opinions, and points of view. Not just ours.

In other words: changing careers is not the same as changing a light globe, and if you have doubts, or concerns, you should always seek professional advice specific to your individual circumstances.

The InterChange Desk is independently produced, that is, we are not paid to write by anyone.

While The InterChange Desk participates in a number of clearly indicated advertising and affiliate programs, we only ever write about something we feel is a worthwhile career change resource.

In other words if we recommend a book, product, service, or whatever, it is because we like it, not because we were paid to say something “nice”.
